Bears players have mixed reactions to Justin Fields trade on social media originally appeared on NBC Sports Chicago
The Bears made a franchise-altering decision on Saturday, trading Justin Fields to the Steelers in exchange for a conditional 2025 sixth-round pick, sources confirmed to NBC Sports Chicago’s Josh Schrock.
Fields had the undivided support of the locker room throughout this process. Several players suggested the Bears keep Fields, saying they already have their quarterback. Instead, the Bears will undoubtedly draft USC’s Caleb Williams as the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
