Wisconsin football recruit flips commitment to Big Ten rival

In a matter of minutes, Wisconsin football class of 2025 commit Torin Pettaway decommitted from the school and flipped to joining bitter rival Minnesota on Thursday night.

After commiting to join the Badgers on March 7, the three-star defensive lineman appears to have had a change of heart, opting to join the Golden Gophers instead.

His X posts announcing the reopening of his recruitment and then his subsequent decision to head to Minneapolis, were posted just one minute apart!

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound athlete is a junior at Middleton High School, making it a little disappointing that he won’t stick around to play for his home state team.

After a lot of thought and considering I have decided to reopen my commitment and de-commit from the university of Wisconsin
