Maryland cornerback Aydan West pledged to the Spartans via a livestream.

The Quince Orchard standout, out of Gaithersburg, Maryland, is rated as the No. 91 cornerback nationally, according to 247 Sports’ composite rankings, as well as the No. 28 player in Maryland.

Michigan State coach Jonathan Smith talks the media on the first national signing day for college football recruits Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing.

West chose the Spartans over a final group of six other schools: Cincinnati, Duke, Penn State, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

The 6-foot-1, 160-pounder is the second defensive back to commit to the Spartans for 2025, following Florida CB George Mullins on Saturday. West’s commitment brings the Spartans to the No. 55 class for 2025, according to 247 Sports’ rankings.
