Michigan football already has two running backs committed in the 2025 class but it wouldn’t exactly mind if it took a third.
The Wolverines got pledges from three-star Jasper Parker and four-star Donovan Johnson within the past week and a half, but their eyes have long been set on Santa Ana (Calif.) four-star Jordon Davison. Davison has had a solid relationship with running backs coach Tony Alford from when Alford was at Ohio State and that’s carried over to his move to Ann Arbor.
Though Davison was long seen as a Buckeye lean, recent intel suggests that he’s between Michigan football and Oregon. We’ll know for sure where he leans as he’ll be making a commitment on Friday, June 28.
Davison is rated highest by Rivals, which has him as a five-star, while the rest of the recruiting services have him as a four-star.

Despite the intel suggesting that Michigan football and Oregon lead for Davison, both the 247Sports Crystal Ball and On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine indicate that the Buckeyes will be his school of choice when he makes his decision on Friday.
