OXFORD — Ole Miss football took a step toward replenishing its 2025 recruiting class with the addition of defensive lineman Corey Adams Jr.
Adams, who plays his high school football for Edna Karr in New Orleans, is rated by the 247Sports Composite as a three-star prospect. He is the No. 737 ranked overall player in the cycle, the No. 76 defensive lineman and the No. 24 prospect in the state of Louisiana.
He announced his pledge via social media on Thursday morning.
The news comes after three prospects decommitted from Ole Miss’ recruiting class on Monday. One of them, Corey Amos, was also a defensive lineman.
Listed at 6-foot-3, 245 pounds, Adams chose the Rebels from a long list of offers, including LSU, Oregon, Texas A&M, Oregon and Miami.
He becomes the 10th member of the Rebels’ class and the second defensive lineman, joining Oak Grove four star Andrew Maddox.
