Ohio State football misses out on four-star edge rusher

Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Unfortunely, this story features a loss. Ohio State football has been killing it recruiting-wise, but it has also taken a few lumps, and today was another lump. Four-star edge defender, Mariyon Dye, has announced his commitment to become a Tennessee Volunteer.

Dye is an Indiana product who had his list narrowed down to LSU, Purdue, Ohio State, and Tennessee. He announced his intentions to play for the Vols today.  It came as a shock to a few people considering his northern location.

Dye is currently listed as 6-foot, 5-inches and 270 pounds,  and is a consensus top-25 edge rusher in the class of 2025. This announcement will not hurt the Ohio State recruiting class too much, but it is a disappointment.
