Maybe keep some fireworks on hand, just in case.
Missouri football is rounding out its recruiting class in the 2025 cycle, and the next week could bring the Tigers close to completing its next crew.
Four Mizzou targets are set to announce their collegiate decisions in the next seven days, including a pair of four-star wide receivers and a blue chip safety.
The Tigers currently have 12 players committed to their Class of 2025. The ball got rolling on this cycle with top-ranked, Pennsylvania-based quarterback Matt Zollers — a four- or five-star prospect depending on your choice of recruiting service — back in April. Since then, the numbers have started to roll in … and from all over.
Three players from inside the Missouri state line are on board, including the top overall recruit — four-star offensive tackle Jack Lange out of Eureka — and two more players ranked among the Show-Me State’s top-15 players. Mizzou has secured verbal commitments from players from eight different states and has gone toe-to-toe with some blue bloods to get them.
All told, the Tigers currently hold the No. 35 class in the nation and the No. 12 class in the expanded, 16-team SEC, per the recruiting service 247Sports.
Depending on how the next week goes, that could be in for a significant jump.
Here are four players who will announce their collegiate destinations between Thursday, July 4, and Wednesday, July 10. All recruiting rankings, unless otherwise specified, come from 247Sports’ composite rankings.

While the brats are grilling and the first sparklers begin sizzling on the Fourth, it may behoove Missouri fans to politely excuse themselves from the Independence Day festivities for a moment at 5 p.m. and…
