Dyersburg 4-star Kalen Edwards commits to Kentucky football over Auburn, Ole Miss, Louisville

Dyersburg defensive lineman Kalen Edwards has committed to Kentucky football, he announced Wednesday on the ‘X’ platform, formerly Twitter.

The 6-foot-4, 330-pound senior and former Auburn commitment chose the Wildcats over Auburn, Ole Miss and Louisville. He decommitted from Auburn in March. He also had offers from Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, Georgia and Oregon.

Edwards is a four-star prospect ranked as the No. 10 player in the 2025 class from Tennessee and the No. 38 defensive lineman nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite.

“First off I want to thank the man above, without Him none of this would be possible,” Edwards wrote in a message posted to X. “I want to thank my MOTHER for being in my corner throughout the ups and downs. I want to thank all my coaches and family and friends and people who was there up until this point in my life. With that being said, for the next 3 to 4 years I will be taking my talents to the University of Kentucky.”

Edwards recorded 47 tackles, including 12 for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and three blocked kicks as a junior while leading Dyersburg to the TSSAA Class 3A state semifinals.
