Hawaii safety commits to Cal over Nebraska

A safety from Hawaii has announced his commitment. Aiden Manutai of Kahuku, Hawaii, has committed to the California Golden Bears.

Manutai chose Cal over Arizona, Tennessee, Washington, and Nebraska. The safety visited the Lincoln campus on June 14 and was impressed by his visit.

While on his official visit to Nebraska, he met with the coaching staff and was hosted by quarterback Dylan Raiola, who has been active in recruiting since becoming a Cornhusker. He also told 247Sports that his visit to Lincoln stood out for one specific reason.

“In Nebraska, we actually helped with their community service project, which separated them from the other official visits.”

Nebraska’s class of 2025 currently holds 15 commitments and is ranked outside the Top 25.
