4-star WR Travis Smith announces commitment

Four-star wide receiver recruit Travis Smith Jr. has committed to the Tennessee Volunteers over the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Auburn Tigers. Smith was previously projected to commit to Georgia, but he started to trend toward Tennessee entering his commitment announcement.

Smith took official visits to all four of his top four schools ahead of his commitment.

Travis Smith plays high school football for Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound wide receiver is consider to be the No. 149 recruit in the nation. The Westlake star is the No. 20 recruit in Georgia in the 2025 recruiting cycle, according to 247Sports. Smith may not be Tennessee’s only big recruiting win. The Volunteers are also predicted to flip four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte away from Georgia.
