Five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham commits to Alabama football, Kalen DeBoer

Caleb Cunningham, Mississippi’s only five-star recruit, announced his commitment to Alabama football via a social media post Saturday.

Cunningham, a five-star recruit according to 247Sports Composite said, “1,000% Committed!!! RTR.”

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound wide receiver from Choctaw County High School is the No. 1 overall recruit in Mississippi and the No. 2 wideout and No. 13 overall player in the Class of 2025, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Cunningham chose Alabama over Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Georgia, LSU, Florida State and Tennessee.

With Cunningham’s commitment, Alabama moves into No. 2 overall in the 2025 team rankings and remains at No. 1 overall in the SEC with 21 commits, including four five-star and 14 four-star recruits.

Last season, Cunningham produced 1,138 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns on 48 receptions, breaking a record at Choctaw County for receiving yards and receptions.
