The Nebraska Cornhuskers landed their third 2025 ESPN 300 recruit on Sunday. Cornerback Bryson Webber announced his commitment to the Huskers on social media.
Webber enters his senior year at Ridge Point High School but only his second year as a cornerback for the Panthers. Webber played wide receiver in his freshman and sophomore years before switching to cornerback.
In Webber’s first season on defense, he recorded 22 tackles, two interceptions, and three pass breakups. In the offseason, he earned an offer from Nebraska, along with numerous Power Four schools.
Webber is also an accomplished track and field athlete, running 10.56 100-meter dash and 21.79 200-meter dash in spring of 2024.
The Missouri City, Texas native is listed at 6-foot, 3-inches, 185 pounds. The four-star corner is ranked No. 176 in the ESPN Top 300. He is the third top 300 commit, alongside T.J. Lateef and Jamarion Parker.
Webber becomes the 16th commit in Nebraska’s 2025 class and the second from the state of Texas, joining three-star Hitchcock defensive lineman Malcolm Simpson.
He is the eighth recruit to commit to the Huskers since June and the second to do so in July, joining three-star offensive tackle Shawn Hammerbeck, who committed on July 3. He chose Nebraska over Utah and TCU.
