The majority of times when Ohio State football travels to Happy Valley and takes on Penn State, there’s a White Out.
This year we won’t see the Nittany Lions team or fans doing that, as Marcus Hartman of the Dayton Daily News has reported this seasons Whiteout will be on November 9 when they host Washington. That doesn’t mean Penn State won’t do something different when the Buckeyes come to town, as they will be doing the helmet stripe game.
The fans will try and replicate the helmet of the Lions, but it just won’t have nearly the same juice as a Whiteout.
Penn State just announced its White Out will be Nov. 9 against Washington while the Ohio State game will be their helmet stripe game with some folks in blue and others in white to resemble PSU helmets. Might indicate OSU-PSU is more likely to be noon than night game…

Hartman surmises that due to this change in attire that the game against Ohio State will most likely be a noon start. An official start time has yet to be announced, but it’s a good guess that we won’t have to wait long on November 2nd to see the Buckeyes play the Nittany Lions.
