Before the North Carolina Tar Heels hit the football field for practices later this Summer, members of the roster will be in Charlotte for the 2024 ACC Football Kickoff.
The annual event will take place over four days, spanning from July 22-25, giving us a look at the conference with three new members. And for the North Carolina Tar Heels, they will send five players plus head coach Mack Brown.
But there’s a twist.
Among the five players that will be in attendance are two quarterbacks: Conner Harrell and Max Johnson. It’s a smart move for the Tar Heels to not tip their hand at what they are doing with the starting quarterback position and instead bringing two players at the position.
Now, Brown and the players will be asked questions about the position but it’s easier having two players there instead.
This will be the first time for each player at the ACC Kickoff event, including Omarion Hampton who was among the best running backs in all of college football last year.
The full list of players in the conference attending can be found here, and the ACC Network will have expanded coverage of the event.
