Notre Dame football elevates Zaire Turner to director of player personnel

On Tuesday afternoon, a report by John Brice of FootballScoop outlined some changes inside the recruiting offices for Notre Dame football.

The Irish will elevate Zaire Turner to director of player personnel, after she was hired away from Virginia Tech a few seasons ago. He mentioned that along with Callie Cameron, Notre Dame as “the first-ever female directors of player personnel in collegiate football.”

Brice also goes on to mention two more moves. The Irish will elevate Olivia Mitchell to the position of assistant athletics director for football operations, and Katy Lonergan to advisor to the head football coach.

Notre Dame (@NDFootball) continues to make impressive moves in its personnel dept. The Irish are elevating Zaire Turner to DPP, among the first females to hold that title in college football, & also have lured back Caleb Davis, @FootballScoop has learned: https://t.co/pFhaZOOah3

Once again, head coach Marcus Freeman is making his mark on the Notre Dame program in a positive way.
