FAMU football is in College Football 25! Well, sort of. Here’s how to play as Rattlers

FAMU football fans, rejoice! The Rattlers are in College Football 25 … kind of.

On Thursday, EA Sports released its Team Builder function in its new video game, the first in its college football series since NCAA Football 14 came out in 2013. College Football 25 was first available for those who preordered it Monday, and on Friday, the game became available to everyone.

College Football 25 includes all 134 FBS teams, including Florida State, but EA Sports announced none of the 129 FCS schools would be included in this version of the game. That includes Florida A&M.

But with the release of Team Builder, players can go to the Team Builder website and upload their own logos and create their own teams, players, uniforms and stadiums. So of course, some fans set out to build their own versions of their favorite teams, including the Rattlers.

How to play as FAMU in College Football 25

The best part? Players can search for created teams and play as them in the offline Play Now and private Dynasty modes.

Dynasty Mode allows players to create a coach to build a program to powerhouse status through recruiting a top class, establishing a coaching staff, and winning games. For example, users can create FAMU head coach James Colzie III and have him oversee the Team Builder-created Rattlers.

Then, you place the Rattlers in a conference and build them to an FBS national championship contender in Dynasty Mode.

Other teams added in College Football 25 Team Builder

Other HBCUs and FCS schools have been added via Team Builder, as well. Here’s a sample:

North Carolina A&T

Youngstown…
