Michigan State football receive some good news on Saturday.
The Spartans bolstered their secondary with a commitment from 2025 three-star cornerback LaRue Zamorano, who announced his decision via X on Saturday.
Zamorano, who attends Centennial High School in Corona, California, is the No. 486-ranked player nationally and No. 42 cornerback in the nation, according to his 247Sports Composite rankings.

Zamorano announced a top seven of Oregon, Penn State, Arizona, Washington, Kansas, USC and Michigan State on May 14. His commitment to the Spartans shows first-year coach Jonathan Smith’s work in recruiting the West Coast, as Michigan State now boasts three commits from California in 2025.
He’s also the third cornerback commit the Spartans have for 2025, joining three-stars George Mullins and Aydan West.
The Spartans’ 2025 recruiting class now holds 16 commits, ranking No. 54 nationally.
