Luke Fickell, Wisconsin football land first commitment for 2026 class, Ohio QB Jarin Mock

MADISON – The recruiting cycle for the 2026 class is just beginning, but Wisconsin already has its quarterback.

Jarin Mock, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound rising junior from Pickerington North High School just outside of Columbus, Ohio, announced his commitment to the Badgers on Saturday evening. He is the first player to commit to the Badgers’ 2026 class.

At this early stage of his recruitment, Mock had also announced on X scholarship offers from Central Michigan, Marshall, Miami (Ohio) and Massachusetts.

Mock, who played his sophomore season at Reynoldsburg High School., announced an offer from Wisconsin on May 9. He participated in the Badgers’ camp June 15-16.
