Penn State extends offer to Class of 2027 QB Peter Bourque

Penn State is in the thick of trying to put together the final touches on its Class of 2025 and is working on getting a jump on its Class of 2026. However, the work is already starting in the Class of 2027, and a potential quarterback for the recruiting class has now received a scholarship offer.

Penn State head coach James Franklin has extended an offer to Class of 2027 quarterback Peter Bourque, from Massachusetts, following a meeting during a mid-summer recruiting event on campus. The Tabor Academy recruiting target already has started to pull in a number of scholarship offers, including from another Big Ten program, Maryland. Syracuse and Kentucky are two other FBS programs with offers for Bourque.

Penn State is the early favorite in the recruiting process for Bourque according to to the On3 recruiting prediction machine. On3 currently calculates a 61.1% chance in favor of Penn State this far out in the recruiting process for the Class of 2027 recruiting target.

Bourque does not currently have any recruiting rankings from the recruiting outlets just yet, although that will likely change as we get closer to the Class of 2027 recruiting cycle to hitting full swing.
