LSU secures a 3-star IOL commit for the 2026 recruiting class

One of the top interior offensive linemen in the 2026 recruiting class has committed to LSU.

Jalan Chapman is a 6-foot-2, 275-pound, three-star offensive lineman from New Orleans where he plays for Warren Easton High School. Chapman chose the Tigers over Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas and others.

Chapman becomes the third commit of the 2026 recruiting class joining Richard Anderson and Jakai Anderson. All three of the players are from New Orleans. Brian Kelly is doing what he has done since arriving at Baton Rouge, he is trying to keep the best players from Louisiana to stay home and play for the Tigers.

Chapman is just entering his junior year of high school so he has a couple more years before he puts his name on the dotted line. As we all know, anything can happen when it comes to recruiting. For the moment, LSU is on top and he is committed to the Tigers.
