There’s been another patch to the biggest sports video game in years. What’s in the latest College Football 25 patch?
EA Sports detailed what was in the update on its Answers HQ page. The patch included mostly minor updates, including stability to the game’s servers.
College Football 25 is the first game in the Orlando-based company’s college football franchise since NCAA Football 14 came out in 2013. The game is wildly popular, though it has come replete with bugs and server crashes during its first two weeks.
What’s in the latest College Football 25 update patch?
On Tuesday, EA posted on its official College Football 25 forum the following updates to the game:
Away team can now change offensive audibles in online head-to-head games.
Roughing the kicker penalties from computer-controlled players on field goals was reduced.
Rare bug where a snap would go behind the quarterback was patched.
Improvements to servers and stability.
What’s the next College Football 25 patch?
EA’s latest update mentioned a larger update coming soon that would involve a full update. Look for the latest Campus Huddle post on the news tab of the College Football 25 website.
EA announced last week a host of issues it was working out, including incorrect logos for teams including Florida International and Florida State’s War Chant and Tennessee’s “Rocky Top” not playing on the Xbox Series S. That list of patches could be coming in the forthcoming title update, as players are still complaining about those issues on social media.
