Portland lineman Zac Stascausky leaves Gophers’ recruiting class

Portland, Ore., offensive lineman Zac Stascausky de-committed from the Gophers recruiting class on Tuesday.

The three-star, 6-foot-6 and 275-pound recruit first committed to Minnesota on June 8. He picked up a scholarship offer from Washington on July 19 and reportedly visited the Seattle campus last weekend.

“After countless conversations with my family and coaches, I will be de-commiting from the University of Minnesota and will be announcing (my pick) soon,” Stascausky wrote on social media.

The Gophers now have three players walk away from scholarships in the 2025 class, including Middleton, Wis., defensive lineman Torin Pettaway and Midlothian, Texas offensive lineman Nelson McGuire.
