Florida State football will be the team to beat in the 2024 season.
The ACC released its media poll on Wednesday afternoon. FSU had the most first-place votes with 81 out of 170. The vote was taken last week during the ACC Kickoff in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Clemson trailed FSU with 55 first-place votes. Miami was third with 17.
FSU went to 13-0 in the regular season last year and finished 13-1.
The Seminoles defeated Louisville to win their 16th ACC Championship, marking the most ACC titles since joining the conference.
Despite its resume, the Seminoles missed out on the College Football Playoff and suffered their first loss of the year to Georgia in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
FSU returned 10 starters from last year and added 10 more players from the transfer portal, including quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.
The Seminoles will kick off the season in Dublin, Ireland as they face Georgia Tech during the Aer-Lingus College Football Classic. The Week 0 game will be televised on ESPN at noon.
