Sutter is a four-star recruit ranked No. 5 statewide overall and No. 2 for incoming juniors, according to the composite ranking by the recruiting website 247Sports.com. He is No. 118 overall nationally.
There are no five-star college football recruits in Illinois, according to 247.com, and just 18 four-star recruits across the classes of 2025 and 2026. Sutter is fifth among them. Here is a look at each:

The 6-4, 270-pound senior is No. 1 in the Class of 2025. He is uncommitted with 22 offers, taking visits to Miami (Fla.), Utah, Iowa, Missouri and Penn State.

The 6-4, 265-pound senior committed to defending national champion Michigan on April 22, 2024.
Talyn Taylor, WR, Geneva
The 6-1, 173-pound senior committed to SEC power Georgia on June 11, 2024
Jonas Williams, QB, New Lenox Lincoln-Way East
The 6-3, 185-pound uncommitted junior is expected to select between Oregon, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State on Aug. 3. He is the state’s top-ranked player in the Class of 2026.
