Two pass-happy programs feature some of the top receivers in the area. Here’s a look at our picks for the best in the South Plains, listed in alphabetical order. Included is an athlete that causes problems as running back and receiver.
Chase Campbell, Jr., Frenship
Campbell, who holds multiple Division I offers, finished with 84 catches for 1,411 yards and 17 touchdowns last season.
Caton Cramer, Jr., Seminole
Cramer was used at multiple positions in 2023, racking up 75 catches for 757 yards and six TDs. He also ran 123 times for 699 yards and 13 scores. Cramer holds offers from multiple Big 12 programs, including Texas Tech.
Michael Dever, Sr., Lubbock-Cooper
Dever committed to Texas Tech during the summer. He caught 40 passes for 662 yards and 11 TDs as a junior.
Logan McCormick, Jr., Seminole
McCormick totaled 78 catches for 1,178 yards and 22 TDs last season. He also ran for 160 yards and seven scores on 28 carries.

Stone, a Texas Tech commit, led the South Plains with 94 catches for 1,658 yards and 23 TDs.
Top utility: Cedric Ross, Jr., Estacado
The speedy Ross is a threat from anywhere on the field. He caught 33 passes for 635 yards and seven TDs, in addition to 28 carries for 526 yards and six scores. Ross, who holds a Texas Tech offer, also had 380 return yards and a TD.
