Recruiting
Five-star defensive line recruit Justus Terry is not planning to announce his commitment any time soon. “I am going to hold off deciding until the early signing period,” said Terry in a recent interview with On3.
Terry, who is projected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs, is one of Georgia’s top remaining targets in the class of 2025. Terry was previously committed to Georgia, but later backed off his decision. More recently, Terry decommitted from the USC Trojans over the summer.
Terry would be one of the defining pieces of Georgia’s class of 2025 if the Bulldogs can sign him. Terry is ranked as the No. 8 recruit in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite.
The 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive lineman plays high school football for Manchester High School in Manchester, Georgia. Terry is the second-ranked recruit in Georgia and the second-ranked defensive lineman in the country.
Terry went on official visits with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulllodgs and Florida State Seminoles over the summer. Alabama and Florida State are considered Georgia’s top competition to land the elite defensive lineman.
Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia football have the No. 3 ranked recruiting class in the 2025 cycle. Justus Terry could help Georgia further climb up the recruiting rankings.
