Five-star plus 2025 offensive tackle David Sanders Jr. will announce his commitment on Aug. 17 at 12:30 p.m. EDT, per Steve Wiltfong of On3.
Sanders Jr. will choose between his top four schools: Tennessee, Georgia, Nebraska and Ohio State.
Sanders Jr. is a consensus five-star and ranks as the No. 2 overall national prospect. He ranks as the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 1 prospect in North Carolina, per 247Sports.
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive tackle prospect is from Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Tennessee has 21 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class: Quarterback George MacIntyre, defensive lineman Ethan Utley, tight end Jack Vandorselaer, cornerback Dylan Lewis, running back Justin Baker, wide receiver Joakim Dodson, cornerback Tyler Redmond, safety Sidney Walton, wide receiver Radarious Jackson, offensive lineman Antoni Kade Ogumoro, edge Jayden Loftin, offensive lineman Nic Moore, defensive lineman Charles House, offensive lineman Douglas Utu, cornerback Tre Poteat, edge Mariyon Dye, wide receiver Travis Smith Jr., linebacker Christian Gass and safety Lagonza Hayward, tight end Da’Saahn Brame and defensive lineman Darrion Smith.
