Every year the college game rotates in new stars, and Notre Dame football has plenty that fit that mold as we head into the 2024 campaign.
This list is compromised of just the potential offensive Irish breakouts, we’ll take a look at the defense tomorrow. There was a good amount of turnover on the roster, especially on this side of the ball and multiple players will have to make that jump.
Here are five players, plus an honorary mention, that have the potential to break out for Notre Dame and become household names.
Honorary mention – Offensive tackle Charles Jagusah
There is no doubt in my mind if healthy, Jagusah would have blown up on the national scene. He’s the prototype for a tackle, and has the potential to be yet another 1st round pick from the Irish offensive line. We’ll have to wait until next season before he makes his big splash.
The third-year back cracked the rotation last year and showed that he belonged. Price averaged over 5 yards-per-carry while scoring 3 touchdowns on the ground. He added another score and 65-yard receiving, showing he can be a versatile option for the Irish. With a bigger workload, Price should see a significant jump in production.
The freshman flashed last season, leading the irish with 5 reception scores. A new offensive scheme should see the Irish receivers reap the benefits and Greathouse should be one of them. He’s a star in the making.
Jeremiyah Love scores from six yards out running right behind a bulldozing block from Sullivan Absher. Blue up 21-14 at the end of the third…
