If you play in P Pr Leagues, a guy like Devote Williams is in this really great spot where he could catch a ton and ton of passes.
They will use multiple backs.
That’s the other element of Peyton’s stuff.
But the big part of the GTE where he’s at and where he’s priced in fantasy, the big part of it is that people are convinced that he’s bad now and I see it as a positive that Sean Payton used him in 264 touches last year in a year where he clearly was compromised.
And yes, they did do a committee and they had mclaughlin and Pry both on the field, but those guys were at 100 and seven and 100 and three touches.
They were at 210 combined.
Williams was still 50 touches clear of the other two guys combined in a season where he was clearly compromised.
To me, that’s Peyton saying he does all the little things that I need a running back to do.
He’s good in pass protection.
He, he can play all the roles I need him to play.
And now they’re talking about how he’s s he’s sleeker, he’s two years removed from the knee and all of that stuff.
So, again, the, the, the, the broader point is we can’t just say he’s bad because the data says he’s bad when we already knew going in.
That was a risk.
We’re just double counting.
I’m not saying he’s definitely gonna to get all the way back.
But I talked about some of the reasons I do like Javante this year and where he’s priced in most cases, you’re just free rolling, the efficiency coming back, you’re just free rolling that if he’s actually what we saw prior to the injury, he’s the best pick in fantasy here, at least one of the top running backs you can have in those middle rounds.
