Boise State bests Oklahoma State for 2026 QB Jackson Presley

Double-digit offers and a swell of 2026 quarterback recruits led to a preseason decision for Jackson Presley.

The Kalispell (Mont.) Glacier standout, who threw for more than 3,000 yards and totaled 32 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2023, went public with a pledge to the Boise State Broncos on Monday afternoon.

“I took the trip down to Boise and really fell in love,” Presley told Rivals. “The school, campus, everything going on there. They sling the ball and they’re a very QB-friendly offense. A lot of great quarterbacks came from Boise.

“I had great connections with the coaches there, too. Coach Coop (Steve Cooper)…coach (Spencer) Danielson, the head coach, fell in love with his development process and just how he cares for each and every player. He’s also a big man of faith, which is really important to me.”

While some programs had been in on the newest Bronco longer, the connections between the program and its future quarterback were built in a hurry this offseason.

“I got offered by Boise in the spring time,” Presley said. “Coach Matt Miller, the receivers coach and passing game coordinator, came to watch me throw at my school. We built a great connection and he actually played high school ball out here in Montana, playing with and against all my coaches.”

After the unofficial visit to campus, there were considerable similarities to the outdoors nature the rising-junior recruit has grown fond of off the field. On the field and in the locker room, there was just as much to like.
