Ohio high school football 2024 | Top 10 Canton-area two-way players to watch

As we prepare for the start of the 2024 Ohio high school football season, we’re breaking down the top players by position. Throughout the preseason, we’re ranking the top 10 Greater Canton quarterbacks, running backs, receivers/tight ends, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers, defensive backs, specialists and two-way players.

Today, we look at the top 10 two-way players, starting with a pair of dynamic seniors: Canton McKinley’s Keith Quincy and Green’s Antonio Martin.

Canton McKinley, WR-DB, Class of 2025

What to know: A fantastic all-around player, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Quincy is a kid McKinley doesn’t want to take off the field much. He earned All-Ohio second team in Division I last year, leading the Bulldogs with 51 receptions for 970 yards and eight touchdowns. His six interceptions as a safety led McKinley and tied for the second most in the area. Quincy also handled the punting duties for McKinley, averaging 35.2 yards an attempt.

What to know: Not many area kids, if any, have played more snaps of varsity football than Martin. Certainly, few have done it better than him. The 6-0, 180-pound Martin totaled 30 tackles and six interceptions last year at cornerback, earning All-Ohio second team in Division II. An extremely versatile offensive player, he caught 63 passes for 660 yards and seven touchdowns while rushing for another five TDs.
