Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders has played in a lot of different college football stadiums during his career, including last season at Oregon’s legendary Autzen Stadium and the historic location of UCLA’s home football games, The Rose Bowl.
His favorite stadium to play in, however, may come as a surprise.
The Colorado quarterback, entering his senior season in Boulder, revealed on a recent podcast that he likes the environment at Arizona State’s Mountain America Stadium.
“I would definitely say I like Arizona State,” Sanders said of his favorite stadium to play in on a recent episode of his podcast, 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders. “Yeah, it was lively at Arizona State.”

Surprised by that pick? Maybe you shouldn’t be.
It was definitely “lively” at ASU’s stadium when the Buffaloes and Sun Devils faced off last season, a 27-24 win for Colorado on Oct. 7, 2023.
After Arizona State tied the game with 50 seconds left, Sanders and the Buffaloes drove down the field and won the game on a 43-yard field goal from Alejandro Mata.
Sanders went to the ASU student section to celebrate after Colorado’s win.
Earlier in the game, Sanders appeared to throw an ASU’s players mouthpiece after a Buffaloes touchdown.
Yeah, that definitely qualifies as “lively.”
