ESPN’s Top 100 players ranking for 2024 includes several members of the Crimson Tide

The 2024 college football season is going to be one of the most exciting in recent memory with no clear No. 1 team in the country and no obvious Heisman Trophy winner. Everything is truly up for grabs.

For the Alabama Crimson Tide, this season is going to look very different with the legend Nick Saban no longer on the sidelines. However, Kalen DeBoer has already proven to be one of the best coaches in college football despite only spending two seasons in a Power 5 conference.

Alabama enters the year ranked No. 5 in the AP Poll, and the craziest thing is this will probably be the least talented Alabama team DeBoer ever has after several portal losses following Saban’s retirement. With the No. 1 recruiting class in 2025 and some great young pieces like Ryan Williams, the Tide are in a phenomenal spot moving forward.

Even after all the losses and change, the Crimson Tide still boast one of the most talent-filled rosters in the sport as ESPN ranked five players from Alabama in their Top 100 players before the season:

Moore was already Alabama’s defensive captain a season ago but he will be the true heart and soul of this Alabama defense as he stuck through the coaching transition….
