Where Colorado’s top 2025 college football recruits are going to play at the next level

The 2024 high school football season is just getting underway but recruiting is in full swing.

The state of Colorado’s 2025 class (who are starting their senior seasons) have spent the summer at various camps and recruiting trips. Many of the top college football recruits in the state have already committed to their next school. The first opportunity for this class to officially sign is in December.

Here is a look at Colorado’s top recruits in the state in the 2025 class. Ratings are based on the “Top247” ranking from 247Sports.

Tanner Terch

High school: Heritage

Recruiting ranking: 3 stars

College: Committed to Nebraska

Notable: The receiver (who is listed as an “athlete” by 247Sports) caught 55 passes for 876 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior in 2023. He was honorable mention all-state in Class 5A.

Marcus Mozer

High school: Fossil Ridge

Recruiting ranking: 3 stars

College: Committed to San Diego State

Notable: Mozer has played both sides of the ball and had 54 catches for 940 yards and nine touchdowns last season as a junior. He also had nearly 500 kick return yards and was honorable mention all-state in Class 5A. Mozer had an excellent performance at the 2024 Colorado state track meet. He finished second in Class 5A in the long jump (22-feet, 11 inches), fourth in the 200-meter dash (21.73 seconds) and sixth in the 100 dash (10.85 seconds).

Fossil RIdge’s Marcus Mozer has verbally committed to San Diego State.

Zayne DeSouza

High school: Loveland

Recruiting ranking: 3 stars

College: Committed to Colorado

Notable: The tight end had 19 catches for 330 yards and a touchdown in 2023 as a junior.

Soren Shinofield

High school: Cherry Creek

Recruiting ranking: 3 stars

College: Committed to Utah
