Well, it didn’t take long for a top-10 team to fall, as No. 10 Florida State was upset by unranked Georgia Tech on a last second 44-yard field goal, 24-21.
Notre Dame’s Week 11 opponent just lost a ton of luster, as the Seminoles were just one of three preseason ranked opponents that the Irish were set to face. While you should expect FSU to still be inside the top-25 after this gut-wrenching loss, it’s still one that hurts the Irish in the long run.
