Arizona State football fans to eat alligators? Elk bratwurst? ASU revamps concessions

When you think Wyoming football, you think … elk bratwurst?

Arizona State University announced revamped concession stand items for the 2024 ASU football season and a signature item will be featured for each game.

For Saturday’s season opener against Wyoming, that item is elk bratwurst.

For the game against Mississippi State on Sept. 7, the item is an alligator po boy.

Burnt end street tacos will be featured for the game against Kansas on Oct. 5, while the game against Utah on Oct. 11 will feature a pastrami burger.

The UCF game (Nov. 9) will have a surf and turf flatbread, while the home finale against BYU (Nov. 23) will have a chicken shawarma waffle cone as the signature item.

More concession changes at ASU football games

The signature items aren’t the only change coming to Mountain America Stadium concessions for ASU football games this season.

The team announced it will have Devil Dogs (footlong Sonoran-style hot dogs) and Inferno Fries (fries loaded with cheese curds) this season.

According to a release from ASU, the value menu has been expanded to include more affordable options for a hot dog, soda, beer or popcorn. The prices for these items will range from $5 to $6.60.

An additional grab-and-go marketplace has also been added, expanding this fast option with the shortest lines for fans who want to get back to the game action as quickly as possible.
