Buckeye Nation rejoice! It’s time for another season of Ohio State football.

The anticipation and expectations may be higher this year than any other in the memorable past. Ryan Day’s squad has possibly as much talent as any OSU team ever assembled, and quite possibly more. The team is absolutely loaded with senior leadership and several key transfers, leaving many feeling it’s Big Ten and national championship or bust.

OK, It may not be championship or bust, but it’s certainly beat Michigan or bust. Day simply won’t survive another loss to The Team Up North. Maybe that’s unfair considering the Buckeye head coach has a record of 56-8 since taking over the program in 2019. Fair or not, this is the pressure cooker that is Ohio State football.

The quest begins on Saturday when the Akron Zips come to town. It’s been a long wait, but it’s finally here. Let’s get ready for some football and dive right into our first weekly game preview of the 2024 season.
