There’s plenty of excitement surrounding the new-look Big 12 this season.
With OU and Texas now in the SEC, the Big 12 is set to feature four newcomers. Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah are now in the mix.
Conference play is sure to be competitive as the 16 teams fight for positioning in the new hierarchy. Here’s one bold prediction for every Big 12 team:

One bold prediction for every Big 12 team
Arizona: Tetairoa McMillan will win the Fred Biletnikoff Award
McMillan earned an All-Pac-12 second team selection last season with 80 catches for 1,242 yards and 10 touchdowns. It was an impressive stat line for the then-sophomore wide receiver, and I think he’ll put up even better numbers this season.
McMillan is a 6-foot-5 target who has the size, catch radius and route running skills to be a nightmare for any defense. He also has great chemistry with returning quarterback Noah Fifita, who was his high school teammate.
McMillan was named to the watch list for the Fred Biletnikoff Award, which is given annually to the nation’s best wide receiver. I believe he has all the tools to take it home.

Arizona State: The Sun Devils’ defense will be the most improved unit in the Big 12
Arizona State’s defense allowed 31.8 points per game last season, and it ended the campaign on a low point. It allowed at least 49 points in three of its last four outings.
Arizona State doesn’t have many returners on defense, and that’s a good thing. It added a wealth of transfers who can contribute right away such as Oregon cornerback Cole Martin, New Mexico State linebacker Keyshaun Elliott and San Diego State linebacker Zyrus Fiaseu.
Will Arizona State have the best…
