The No. 1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs open the season on Saturday, Aug. 31. The Bulldogs play against the fourteenth ranked Clemson Tigers in Atlanta, Georgia, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The game will kick off the college football slate for the day at Noon ET and will be televised on ABC.

Georgia is coming off of a 13-1 season where they lost in the SEC championship after an undefeated regular season. Clemson is coming off a disappointing 9-4 campaign that saw them rebound from a poor start to the season with five straight wins.

The game has understandably captured the national media spotlight leading in and will be significant for both programs. Georgia aims to continue their streak of regular season wins going back to the 2020 season, while Clemson is seeking to return to the ranks of the top programs in the nation with a statement victory over what many consider the SEC’s premier program.

Here are some of the top media opinions and predictions that have been shared ahead of this high-profile matchup.
