When it comes to pregame experiences, no one does it better than the Big Ten. Tailgating and pregame traditions become ingrained in the campus and town, showcasing the spirit for visiting fans and setting the stage for a perfect football day.

A list by of top Big Ten pregame environments was compiled, ranking the Big Ten programs for the best college football Saturday in the parking lot outside their stadium and near their campus.

The Trojans come in at No. 14 out of 18 Big Ten schools.

USC is putting football back on the map in Southern Cal, and its embrace of the L.A. scene helps make it No. 2 in its new Big Ten home in entertainment. Conversely, however, it ranked dead last as a spot for families, thanks in large part to a campus crime rate that ranked three times higher than the Big Ten average. Traffic and crowds push the Trojans’ location score down. Like UCLA, however, being in the stadium (Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum) is worth the trip.
