What channel is Louisiana- Grambling State football game on? Time, TV, streaming info

It’s time for football in Cajun Country as Louisiana football kicks off the 2024 season by hosting Grambling State for its annual Herbert Heymann Classic.

The Ragin’ Cajuns open the season facing the Tigers for their second meeting in history after beating them in 2018 to kick off the Billy Napier era. They handled the Tigers 49-17 in that matchup. Now coach Michael Desormeaux, who enters his third year at the helm of UL football, will look to go 2-0 against Grambling.

Last season, UL ended with a 6-7 overall record, losing to Jacksonville State in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The Tigers had a similar end to last season, finishing 5-6. Both squads will look to avenge last year’s struggles and get in the win column to kick off the season. Grambling will see its first game under new coach Mickey Joseph.

Cajuns Safety Jalen Clark 20 scores a touchdown as Louisiana’s Ragin Cajuns take on the Jaksonville State Gacmecocks in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl in the Caesars Superdome. New Orleans, La. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023.
