College football is set for an action-packed Saturday to start off Week 1 of the season. The lineup features 11 top-25 teams in action, with Kirby Smart’s No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs, who are coming off a dominant season, taking on Dabo Swinney’s No. 14 Clemson Tigers, a team known for their strong defense, in a highly-anticipated ACC-SEC matchup at noon.

In primetime, No. 7 Notre Dame will face No. 20 Texas A&M for the first time since 2001, marking only the sixth meeting in the program’s history. Texas A&M will be led at quarterback by the returning Conner Weigman, who has recovered from a broken foot he suffered early last season. His return adds an extra layer of anticipation to the game.

The new season has already seen its fair share of upsets and thrilling moments and it is only Week 1. Now, with the expanded College Football Playoff format, every game has gained a new level of excitement and importance, making each one a must-watch occasion.
