It was a beat down of epic proportions in the swamp today as Miami stumps into Gainesville and takes down the Gators 41 to 17 and it was really a dominant performance in all three levels for Miami.
I mean, the receivers were averaging almost 15 yards a catch at one point in the first half, Miami was running at almost six yards a clip dominant at the line of scrimmage, dominant, defensively, dominant, offensively and a fantastic performance and coming out party in a Miami uniform for Washington State transfer.
Cam Ward fits in your opinion, is this game more about Miami or is it more about Florida?
Oh, it’s more about Florida and look Caroline.
Remember when this matchup used to matter when Miami Florida used to be the reason we all stopped and you had to get to a TV.
We were reminded today, not just that this matchup isn’t really significant, but that Florida football right now is insignificant.
They’re not just bad.
They no longer matter if you watch the games today, I would make the argument all day that Vanderbilt looked better and more prepared than Florida.
I know it’s a different opponent.
We could talk all day long about that.
Miami absolutely throttled him.
But for all the numbers you mentioned there, it was the fact that Billy Napier’s offense never got going.
You take away one massive run and the rest of this Florida game was a joke.
So if you’re a Florida fan, that’s been trying to put the positive spin on this for months and saying no, don’t worry about it.
