FSU football without Jeremiah Byers, Hykeem Williams, 2 linebackers vs. Boston College

Florida State football will be without four players in Monday nights game against Boston College.

Offensive linemen Jeremiah Byers, linebackers Shawn Murphy and Omar Graham and wide receiver Hykeem Williams will all miss the No. 10 Seminoles (0-1) home opener against Boston College at Doak Campbell Stadium with injuries.

This is the second week in a row that Murphy and Williams will miss, with the duo out of action in the week zero loss to Georgia Tech. Both Byers and Graham played against the Yellow Jackets but will be unavailable for the game against Boston College.

Florida State Seminoles offensive lineman Jeremiah Byers (63) celebrates a first down. The Florida State Seminoles defeated the Miami Hurricanes 27-20 on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.

Byers is backed up by Robert Scott and Jaylen Early in the depth chart, with Scott looking to be in line for a start. Graham was a backup with Justin Cryer behind DJ Lundy in the linebacker room and with Graham out it likely gives Cryer more opportunity.

Cryer was only used on special teams against Georgia Tech, and he recorded one tackle.

Kickoff for the Seminoles matchup with Boston College is slated for 7:30 p.m.
