LAWRENCE — Kansas football (1-0) has its sights set on a Saturday road game against Illinois (1-0) for the Jayhawks’ second game of the year.
This will be the first road game for Kansas this season, as well as the Jayhawks’ first game against another Division I FBS opponent. Head coach Lance Leipold and company are coming off a 48-3 win at home against FCS-level Lindenwood in their season opener. Last season, when Kansas and Illinois played in Lawrence, the Jayhawks won 34-23.

Kansas football tickets vs Illinois
Kansas is set to kick off on Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. (CT) on the road against Illinois. This is the second of three non-conference games the Jayhawks will play this fall, and the only one that will be played on the road. Kansas is representing the Big 12 Conference, while Illinois is representing the Big Ten Conference.
Fans interested in attending the matchup can still find tickets on StubHub. Tickets start at as low as $15, as of the morning of Sept. 1. Options for tickets expand from there, including for those interested in purchasing more than one ticket in a single purchase.
