CLEMSON — Clemson football looks to get back on track after a rough showing Saturday.
The Tigers (0-1) were embarrassed by No. 1 Georgia, losing 34-3 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Clemson coach Dabo Swinney took the blame for the Week 1 loss but promised his team will perform better. Its first test is against Appalachian State (1-0), an FCS team that isn’t afraid of beating Power 5 schools on the road.
Clemson will battle the Mountaineers Saturday (8 p.m. ET, ACC) at Memorial Stadium. It leads the all-time series 5-0 against App State with its last victory happening in 2015.
There are still tickets available for the Tigers’ first night game at Death Valley. Here are the best prices for remaining seats.
