With the top five vote-getters of the 2023 Heisman Trophy award all departing for the NFL, there is no clear favorite entering this season. The award has grown to favorite quarterbacks in recent years with seven of the past eight winners being signal callers.

Alabama Crimson Tide QB Jalen Milroe is the highest returning vote-getter from a season ago, and in a Kalen DeBoer led-offense, it’s safe to assume he will be in the hunt again this year. Milroe was outstanding in his 2024 debut accounting for nearly 300 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns.

Since 2009, Alabama has had four Heisman Trophy winners with Bryce Young being the Tide’s only QB to win the award. LSU Tigers QB Jayden Daniels was the winner in 2023 and was ultimately selected No. 2 overall in the 2024 NFL draft.

According to FanDuel Sports, here are the ten players with the best odds to win the award following Week 1:

10. Travis Hunter, WR/CB Colorado Buffaloes, +2500
