NC high school football Week 3 storylines

Cape Fear (1-0) at Terry Sanford (1-1), 7 p.m. — The Bulldogs will debut their new video scoreboard at Bill Yeager Stadium after going 1-1 on the road to open the season. And if they can put points on it, they’ll be the first to do so this season against Cape Fear, which had last week off after routing Pine Forest 44-0 in Week 1. Bulldogs quarterback Jacob Moore has already scored 11 touchdowns this season (three passing, eight running). Looking to stop him will be a veteran defense led by Will Wicklin.
