How much are Wisconsin Badgers football tickets for Alabama game Saturday?

The University of Alabama football team hasn’t played at Camp Randall Stadium since 1928, and those who still want to witness the once-in-a-century occasion will pay triple digits to see it happen.

A glance around the secondary market for tickets between the Wisconsin Badgers and Crimson Tide shows roughly $150 per ticket on the low end, though seats are ample in most sections.

As of Monday morning, StubHub had two seats for $141 each, with a jump to at least $150 for anything else on the site, all before fees.

Median price among the listings was in the neighborhood of $250 per seat, with seats in the $900-$1,000 range on the high end.

Vivid Seats had similar prices, with the vast majority of seats existing in a range between $150 and $340.

Ticket King starts in the $240 range with offerings on its site, and TicketMaster offers seats starting at $171.

As a means of comparison, StubHub, Vivid Seats and TicketMaster show seats for less than $40 for the team’s game against Purdue on Oct. 5, the next home game after Alabama. UW lists the Alabama game as sold out at its official ticket portal and classifies tickets for the Purdue game as “almost gone.”

The Badgers haven’t welcomed any SEC school to Madison since 1971, with the only other two games coming in 1928 (Alabama) and 1931 (Auburn).

The last time a team ranked in the top four came to Camp Randall? That doesn’t require much of a history lesson; Ohio State was ranked No. 3 when it played Oct. 28 in Madison last year, a 24-10 loss…
