After another thrilling week of the high school football season, it’s time to look back on the best performances.

Najee Calhoun, Bergen Catholic
The junior ran for 247 yards and two touchdowns as the Crusaders beat nationally-ranked Massillon (Ohio). His 45-yard touchdown run gave them their first lead of the game.
Ty Christianson, Fair Lawn
The senior ran for 130 yards and a touchdown, and threw for 110 yards and three touchdowns in the Cutters’ 34-13 win over Fort Lee.
Will Cusick, Cresskill/Emerson
The senior ran for five touchdowns, all in the first half of the Cougars’ 40-7 win over Palisades Park/Leonia. His last score came on a 49-yard run.
Jonathan Davis, Ramsey
The sophomore carried the ball 18 times for 91 yards and scored both touchdowns in the Rams’ 12-8 win over Dwight Morrow.
Ian McDuffie, Passaic Tech
The sophomore caught five passes for 115 yards and three touchdowns − including the game-winner − as the Bulldogs beat West Orange, 28-21. On defense, he made eight tackles and forced a fumble.
Nate Johnson, Northern Highlands
The senior completed 12 of 18 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns, and also ran 14 times for 71 yards and two more scores, in the Highlanders’ 31-6 win over Wayne Valley.
Liam Jones, Paramus
The senior helped seal the Spartans’ 34-20 win over Bergenfield with fourth-quarter touchdown runs of 10 and 8 yards.
Roddy Morinho, Lyndhurst
The senior carried the ball five times for 121 yards and two touchdowns in the Golden Bears’ 50-0 win over Lodi on Saturday. Morinho also contributed 10 tackles on defense.
Chris Rios, Wood-Ridge
The junior carried the ball 23 times for 242 yards and three touchdowns…
